Discover the Power of “I Am” “I CAN” “I WILL”

Ladies we all can become our own worst enemy so today is about the Power of I AM! To become successful and independent you have to at some point, get over your own BS and find your inner POwER of SElF!

When I became an entrepreneur, I was motivated by one thing: freedom. I wanted the flexibility to follow my dream. Being my own BOSS allowed me to do work that was engaging and empowering.

DID YOU KNOW According to a Cox Business study, 61 % of women entrepreneurs started a business to be their own boss, and more than 50% became entrepreneurs to have greater control over their future.

There’s no magic formula for entrepreneurial success, of course. Stepping into the unknown is scary — and many women doubt their abilities, feeling like impostors.

You have to get tired of standing in your own way. There is a time where you have to be sick of same tired story you’ve been repeating for years and you make a chang.
This goes for both lives : personal or professional

LET ME ASK YOU THIS:What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

I love to ask people this question because it really inspires you to think about what you are passionate about. What do you love about your work and life without fear and doubt in your way.

You have to stop blaming your challenges on others and realize that you are only a victim to your own mental limitations.

Realize that not everyone has the drive to be an entrepreneur. BUT if you are listing to this you have taken a big step forward.

That said I want to explore with you some things I have learned about handling the fears and doubts that creep in while starting a business.

First off you need to take time to visualize doing something you love.

To be a successful female entrepreneur you have to have the entrepreneurial “drive” to envision a future where you are doing what you love to do all the time. The vision is waking up happy and fulfilled and knowing that if you just put a little extra work in now, that you can create their dream future. Remember Vision is very important for all entrepreneurs and a big reason I always recommend getting started by creating your vision board and repeating affirmations every day, heck look into getting a life coach for a short time.

You have to learn how to Reflect on Self!

Being honest with yourself about yourself is hard. But as many good BOSS Ladies know you have to be your own critic to keep in a forward motion.

The truth is that many of us are so busy trying to move forward with our lives that we rarely take a moment to slow down and be at one with our thoughts. Plus, we often don’t recognize the importance of self-reflection and the impact it can have on our lives.

Take time to recognize your challenges. It’s good to emotionally process the feelings that you have good – bad and ugly about this new adventure of being your own boss.

Self-reflection is one of the best ways that you can shift your mindset, increase positivity in your life, and discover a greater connection to yourself.

This also allows us the opportunity to challenge our ways of thinking. Most of us have a tendency to ruminate on the bad things; for example, our perceived weaknesses, mistakes we’ve made, or embarrassing moments.

So when you actually take the time to reflect and write these things down, it’s important to ask yourself if you really believe them. Eventually, you’ll start to realize that the things you tell yourself about yourself are not always true.

People say “trust your feelings” and “go with the flow”, but this isn’t always good advice. Would you tell an alcoholic to “trust their feelings” when they want to keep drinking? Of course not. For some of you, you will have to accept that you are addicted to lying to yourself. You will need to reprogram with imagining that you can see reality, you can see goals clearly, and trust your own thinking on how to get there.

Being your own boss is being your own support system and keeping yourself accountable for what you achieve.

Depending on how quickly you want to turn your life around, you may need to subject yourself to your own “boss lady bootcamp”. Sometimes the best self-love is a swift kick in the booty.

You may need to post reminders on your walls. You may need to set your alarm earlier so that you can achieve your goals for that day. A priority list is important so that you keep a forward motion. Again I would like to note that you might need help to get used to being YOU! So You may need to recruit the help of a friend or life coach.

HELP YOURSELF with the best setup!

Whether you are setting up an office in town or dedicating a part of your home to an office, your work environment will be crucial to your productivity, happiness and overall success.

Determine your needs and create a space that is right for you! Remove distractions and be good to yourself. This is your space. Study how to create an ergonomically correct workspace so that your body can handle this new adventure or continue to give for the long haul of being a Boss Lady. You should set your environment no matter where it is to Create a sense of wellbeing.

Ideally, when you arrive at your office in the morning, whether it is after a commute across town or from across the hallway, you should be inspired. You should instinctively think: “Wow, what a cool place – I want to work here!”

Don’t be afraid to set fire to your life. It’s better to burn in a blaze of intensity and make a few “mistakes” and learn from them. Than slowly simmer your life away in the pitiful embers of regret.

Power up ladies!
